WIFA’s Monthly Film Screenings in Westcliffe

Westcliffe Independent Film Association (WIFA), the non-profit organization that put on the Westcliffe Digital Film Festival, is hosting a free monthly film screening program in Westcliffe at the All Aboard Westcliffe Train Depot, 110, Rosita Ave, on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., beginning on Thursday, November 4, 2004.

The schedule for the screenings include:

Thursday, January 6 - The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys
Thursday, February 3 - Waking Ned Divine
Thursday, March 3 - Wings of Desire
Thursday, April 7 - Frida

Thursday, June 2
Thursday, July 7
Thursday, August 4
Friday-Sunday, August 26-28 Festival
Thursday, September 1
Thursday, October 6
Thursday, November 3
Thursday, December 1

Each screening will feature a different film that’s “worth talking about” and will be followed by a discussion about the film
with the audience in attendance. Some programs may include guest speakers/local movie critics leading the discussion.

Films will include independent cinema, classics and foreign titles to be announced the week prior to the screening on the
website (WestcliffeDigitalFilmFestival.com).

The screenings are free, but donations will be accepted which will be used to finance equipment for future screenings and next year’s film festival.

If you’re a film lover and like to talk movies, this is the monthly cinema event for you.
